Relieving suffering, making meaning, finding purpose, and experiencing curiosity, connection and joy are just some of the reasons you may pursue therapy.

Psychotherapy provides a space where you can experiment with new possibilities and ways of being. It's about being more alive and vibrant by coming to terms with pain and loss so you can participate in the beauty and abundance of life. Psychotherapy teaches compassion for yourself and others. It holds the potential to open you to the existential questions of being, and with these, it can bring you into relationship with the awe and mystery that each of us are part of.

My specialty is helping you get in touch with the part of yourself that is wise, loving, expansive and alive. By developing this connection you can grow past limiting beliefs and behaviors to live a more authentic and fulfilling life.

How it works

Studies of various psychological approaches have identified one consistent factor that determines the success of treatment - the personal connection between the client and therapist. This connection represents our most basic human needs: to be seen and witnessed as we endeavor to discern who we are, why we are here, and how to live an authentic and fulfilling life. As a practitioner, I bring years of study and personal work into the room, but the most important thing that you’ll find in me is an open and welcoming heart that is ready to stand witness to your personal journey.

One day you finally knew
what you had to do, and began,
though the voices around you
kept shouting
their bad advice —
though the whole house
began to tremble
and you felt the old tug
at your ankles.
”Mend my life!”
each voice cried.
But you didn’t stop.....
